Somewhere over the rainbow (for now we'll just call it Chapel Hill, haha) lies a hotel that's so close to perfection, one would dare to click their heels whilst evaluating whether they'd awakened in Oz! Emulating themes inspired by Tuscany, as I see it, no trip to Italy is complete without a charcuterie platter, bottle of vino and pasta of some sort. The on-site Italian ree-sto-RAHN-teh hardly came up short as each dish; served by a knowledgeable team of professionals was not only bountiful, but sumptuously served to perfection. I'm certain that parishioners of Florence are someplace blushing simply from the milieu conveyed by this second coming of Italy. "Lavorro ben fatto!!!" (Job well done!) Upgraded to a suite, we found our oversized abode included everything beneath the sun! From 2 chase lounges to dual Juliet verandas and a bed that served as the equivalent of resting at the foot of the baby Jesus. When mirrored by exceptional customer service and paralleled with outstanding room service and a price tag that didn't break the bank.... What's not to like????? Oh yeah. Leaving!

We have stayed several times at the Siena. The location is very convenient to stores, restaurants, and walking trails, and parking is ample (and free!). We travel with our dog, and the pet fee is quite reasonable. The rooms (and the bathrooms) are large and well-appointed, and are not cookie-cutter. Despite being right on Franklin Street, the hotel is quiet, and the free coffee is very good. The staff is always welcome and eager to help when necessary.

The staff was excellent beyond anything one could expect. Every issue that came up was immediately addressed. Even when the issue was not related to the hotel but due to weather or a business cancellation and need for a private conference room to have a remote meeting. They delivered over and over. The morning and night staff sept 28-29 I wish I could name them so they could get appropriate recognition.

The hotel was a really neat building with lots of green plants. The best asset was their staff. They were friendly, spend time on your requests or questions. The food, a bar menu unfortunately because the dining room was closed, was excellent. The room was large, the windows and balcony doors could be opened. It was surprisingly quiet for an in town hotel.

We have stayed several times at The Siena, and will return. They have reasonable fees for keeping our dog with us; the rooms are large and comfortable; parking is easy, ample, and free; and the hotel is conveniently located on Franklin Street (but not too close to the UNC campus). The staff is always welcoming and, when necessary, helpful.
